Hi from Claudio and Nico we're father and son, I've been in the food industry from a very young age and Nico joined me in the kitchen and at the restaurants from being able to walk! Togther we've had a wide range of outlets from retaurants in Knightsbridge to pannini stores in America! We have a great passion for food and get a great feeling from serving great food and a great pride from seeing people truly enjoying what they eat.

 

After moving from London to Corbridge in 2013 and with Nico looking to move back to the UK from America we started to look for premises and in 2014 luckily Mucho Gusto became available. From the moment we walked through the door we knew it was right for us, we instantly fell not only for the Cafe but also for the beautiful town and people of Hexham. A month later we became the new owners.

 

We decided to give the cafe a new spruce of life and the cafe underwent a refurbishment bringing the kitchen and it's equipment up to the required modern standards and the decor and furnishing were updated. The menu kept all the favourites and we added some of our favourites from over the years.

In September the cafe was renamed "The Small World Cafe" to tie in with our families other cafe's in Marbella and Rome.

 

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank the people of Hexham for walmly welcoming us and making us feel part of their community.
